In 1850 our ancestor received some buildings and vineyards from his uncle which created the beginning of our winery at Saint Laurent du Bois.
Since then, 7 generations have succeeded one another to create this estate of 60 hectares with the Château Haut Genestat in the Entre-Deux-Mers region.

Sophie Despagne and her brother Vincent are both in charge of this business. They were born into the wine passion and are now in the family know-how.
We are developing our new ideas in diversity and drinking with moderation. Our wine is a large part of everyday moments between friends and family.
Not forgetting the ancestral family wine-making methods, we also use modern technology.
While important people of the world are talking about the future of our planet, we are doing sustainable agriculture. Nothing is systematic – there is always a good reason for each job trying to preserve the natural and economic environment in our vineyards.
